Isn't it odd how a clasically trained spanish art guy from the turn of the century painted hookers with simple shapes and became immortal? It never ceases to amaze me how freakin strange cubism must have been to the WW1 generation. Shit my mom was born in the 40s and she thinks it is the work of Satan. :) It is unbelievable that his work is not only still accepted but priceless.The art world is hard to figure out.
