Starting a new week, a new cycle, a routine of beginnings and endings, always renewing itself, gaining new energy, rising from the ashes like an eternal phoenix: Endraki goes out to the city together with the sun, like a guardian of the dawn

Extreme cold and pistachio ice cream

Very cold days throughout Canada. Ontario and Quebec under snow, yesterday (Tuesday) they began to dig their way out. Central and northern Alberta was under a fierce storm: wind, snow, ice, dozens of accidents, vehicles of all kinds in the ditch. There will be a window of a day or two and then snow again. Right now in my town, -32 C. Wednesday, midweek, we must move forward in good spirits and confidence in the future, my friends - perhaps with help of a pistachio ice cream: Sunday mornings - they dress up and go to the park for pistachio ice cream

Snow, cold... and birds

Almost without realizing it, we reached Thursday. It has been a VERY cold week, with temperatures between -25 to -30 degrees Celsius. But, the city is used to these winters, with polar cold and lots of snow and it continues to work, people go to work, shops open, restaurants are full ... And yes, there are birds around too, sparrows, chickadees, blue jays, woodspeckers, grosbeaks and many others: During her walk in the park the birds inform her of the events of the day

Drinking a foot warming cup of tea

Cold nights. Sometimes that cold gets you and you need help to keep warm. Sometimes it is just a feeling, but anyways help is needed. And it's dark already, soon will be bed time, so coffee is not a good choice. Those are tea moments, regular tea or something fancy, mint, green tea... yes, all of them have caffeine as well, but a lot less than coffee - around 15% of it. So, cold nights, keep warm with tea. For more info about caffeine quantities in coffee and different teas you can go here: Drinking a foot warming cup of tea

Sunday and starting a new week

Good Sunday and good week, folks - I hope you had a nice holiday time. Around here it has been very cold, with temperatures around -25 and -27. Still, they have been beautiful days spent with the family. I will have to return to the north at the beginning of next year. Meanwhile, chill out and peace for everyone: Kid, cat and flowers

Mid week smiley woman

So far the weather has been more than acceptable, but make no mistake - winter is here, cold is getting ready. Next week, they say, there will be temperatures in the -20s. You have to heat the car by remote control from home; to turn it on in the morning you have to leave it plugged in with a block heater to keep the oil warm. Yes, winter is harsh in Canada. We arrive in the middle of the week, we can already smell Friday, let's enjoy every day ... Happy woman and naked tree

New dinos and nice weather

Finally Friday, the weekend is almost here. A beautiful day in Calgary, Alberta, sunny, shiny and not so cold, -1 C. Here I post this dinosaur, maybe, inspired by the amazing new dino species discovered in southern Chile - and the discovered dino foot prints that teach us about the motion habilities of these reptiles. Anyways, have a nice Friday evening and a good weekend, see you later, my friends: Walking by the Valley Admiring the Mesozoic Flora
